About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of foundational cloud and infrastructure services
  • Support CI/CD toolchain integration, maintenance, change management, and testing
  • Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources and infrastructure components across environments
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and security requirements
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and health
  • Escalate issues as needed and contribute to troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and cloud service disruptions
  • Participate in routine cloud operations, including maintenance, patching, and configuration changes
  • Assist with incident response and root-cause analysis
  • Support a mission-critical large-scale system serving the Federal Government in the healthcare domain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with AWS
  • At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • At least 1 year of experience with Linux operations, including Bash and Python scripting
  • Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate work
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD holder
  • Must already be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not offered
  • Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain it
  • Preferred: experience in federal government programs or regulated environments, with CMS experience preferred
  • Preferred: relevant AWS, Terraform, Linux, or Kubernetes certifications
