About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically lead the Educational Materials category, ensuring supply continuity, competitiveness, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Support Strategic Sourcing projects to drive financial gains, operational efficiency, process optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with financial and operational objectives.
  • Lead competitive bidding processes, negotiations, and complex contracting with strategic suppliers.
  • Manage contracts, ensuring adherence to scope, deadlines, performance indicators, service levels, and commercial terms.
  • Develop and manage corporate procurement catalogs.
  • Conduct market, trend, benchmarking, and cost-optimization opportunity analyses.
  • Prepare commercial, financial, and data analyses to support contracting and contract-renewal decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and propose procurement solutions.
  • Monitor savings, supplier performance, contractual compliance, service levels, and strategic indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, compliance requirements, governance standards, and audits.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead improvement opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in Strategic Sourcing and category management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations with significant financial impact.
  • Experience managing and negotiating contracts with strategic suppliers.
  • Experience developing and implementing cost-reduction, efficiency, and value-creation strategies.
  • Experience in medium- or large-sized corporate environments, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills for preparing commercial, financial, and performance-indicator analyses.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Preferred: knowledge of categories related to educational materials, laboratories, medical or dental supplies, distribution, furniture, or related services.
  • Preferred: experience developing and managing corporate procurement catalogs.
  • Preferred: postgraduate degree, MBA, or specialization in Supply Management, Negotiation, Strategic Management, or a related field.
