About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and evolve complex software and application architectures
Focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and cloud-native technologies
Define end-to-end system architecture, application interactions, interfaces, data flows, and integration approaches
Analyze product roadmap and customer project requirements and translate them into detailed infrastructure designs and effort estimates
Provide solution architecture recommendations and effort estimates for presales and business development activities
Conduct infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and performance tuning
Serve as a technical expert and provide guidance and best practices to R&D teams
Collaborate with R&D and Product Management teams in an Agile environment
Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree (minimum requirement)
10–15 years of relevant industry experience in software architecture, system design, and distributed systems
At least 5 years of proven experience leading and mentoring global R&D teams
Work experience in a multicultural global company, interfacing with internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams
Proven experience as a Lead System Architect
Proven experience designing and architecting large-scale, complex on-premises systems
Strong knowledge of Microservices, Big Data platforms (Spark, Kafka), SQL/NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, Containers, and cloud-native technologies
AI/GenAI Architecture expertise, including scalable enterprise solutions integrating LLMs, AI agents, and Generative AI services into distributed systems
Background in Telecom Mobile Networks and IP Protocols
Strong understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and infrastructure best practices
Experience with infrastructure sizing, performance tuning, scalability assessments, and capacity planning
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency using AI coding and engineering assistants such as GitHub Copilot (advantage)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies (advantage)
