About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, edit, and manage proposal documents using approved templates and firm resources
  • Coordinate proposal development from request through final submission
  • Customize content to align with client needs while ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Support pitch materials, presentations, agendas, and other business development collateral
  • Draft, edit, and proofread proposal content and supporting materials
  • Ensure documents are clear, compelling, accurate, and aligned with firm branding and style guidelines
  • Perform final quality reviews for grammar, formatting, and consistency before submission
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track proposal activity and retrieve information for proposals and pursuits
  • Maintain proposal content libraries, templates, and firm experience databases
  • Organize, file, and archive proposal materials
  • Partner with accountants, marketing team members, partners, and senior leaders to gather information and develop proposal responses
  • Support RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses while ensuring compliance with requirements
  • Assist internal teams with proposal-related requests and business development initiatives
  • Help maintain and improve proposal processes, templates, and documentation
  • Track proposal activity and marketing metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall proposal quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in professional services or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn new topics, industries, and service offerings
  • Team-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative mindset
  • Preferred: experience supporting proposal development within professional services organizations
  • Preferred: experience using Salesforce CRM
  • Preferred: experience creating RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses
  • Preferred: familiarity with proposal management software, processes, templates, and content libraries
  • Preferred: experience with InDesign or similar document design software
  • Preferred: knowledge of accounting, tax, advisory, or professional services environments
