About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain hands-on client experience and technical knowledge through Cohen & Co’s internship program
  • Perform tax compliance, prepare returns, conduct tax research, and perform tax planning duties
  • Build relationships with peers, mentors, and engagement teams through client work, firm events, and internship experiences
  • Receive ongoing feedback to develop technical and professional skills
  • Participate in firm-wide business development, recruitment, DEI initiatives, and community service
  • Complete a full-time or part-time internship from early June through early August 2028

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Accounting major
  • Successfully completed introductory accounting courses and at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship program start date
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
  • Pursuing required credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam (preferred)
