About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the operational roadmap for Southeast Asia contract manufacturing partners
- Lead strategic planning for future demand, capacity, quality, and delivery requirements
- Translate growth forecasts into executable manufacturing strategies
- Build governance models for contract manufacturer performance and operational maturity
- Own integrated planning connecting demand, supply availability, manufacturing capacity, inventory, financial objectives, and delivery commitments
- Lead executive SIOP reviews and cross-functional decisions on capacity, supply risks, inventory, and production priorities
- Drive scenario planning and develop capacity and resource planning models
- Lead manufacturing transfers, factory ramp-ups, capacity expansions, and business continuity programs
- Coordinate operational readiness across supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality, procurement, and finance
- Support new product introductions and technology transfers into contract manufacturing environments
- Establish KPI-driven systems for delivery, inventory, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and operational readiness
- Improve planning processes, MRP health, master scheduling, and supply-demand balancing
- Implement dashboarding and reporting tools
- Lead supply chain resiliency, responsiveness, and scalability initiatives
- Serve as executive liaison for strategic contract manufacturing partners in Southeast Asia
- Conduct business reviews focused on performance, growth readiness, continuous improvement, and risk management
- Drive accountability across internal teams and external partners
- Resolve operational constraints affecting customer delivery or factory performance
- Build and develop a program management and planning organization
- Lead organizational change initiatives supporting growth and transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, integrated planning, manufacturing operations, or program management
- Deep experience leading SIOP, IBP, demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory strategy processes
- Proven success supporting manufacturing transfers, factory expansions, production ramp-ups, or site transitions
- Experience working with global contract manufacturers and outsourced manufacturing operations
- Ability to lead large cross-functional programs across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Quality
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience leading global teams across multiple regions and cultures
- Frequent international travel
- Must follow site EHS procedures and corporate EHS standards
- Preferred: MBA or advanced technical degree
- Preferred: Experience within photonics, semiconductors, aerospace & defense, electronics manufacturing, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
- Preferred: Experience with SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Power BI, or similar planning and analytics platforms
- Preferred: Experience in AS9100, ISO, or highly controlled manufacturing environments
- Preferred: PMP, APICS, or equivalent certification
