Key responsibilities & impact

Lead efforts to improve and maintain high levels of On-Time-In-Full order fulfillment at third-party locations
Manage multiple 3PL warehouse sites within the Americas and ensure in-bound, receiving, and out-bound performance
Own Americas same-day and next-day delivery operations
Control inventory handling, including daily reconciliation and cycle counts
Resolve operational issues at third-party warehouse locations
Build, implement, maintain, and document 3PL SOPs/SOWs
Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations
Ensure local distribution processes and systems comply with Quality requirements
Establish and drive deliverables supporting annual planning and budgeting commitments
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for Americas logistics and distribution
Build and maintain vendor partnerships
Manage 3PL relationships to achieve quality, safety, service, and cost goals
Manage 3PL KPIs against industry benchmarks and drive logistics performance toward best-in-class levels
Evaluate 3PL partners against best-practice standards
Work cross-functionally with Field Service, Order Administration, Global Operations, Finance, and other corporate teams to develop customer-focused solutions

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar disciplines
At least 6+ years of leadership experience in warehouse management
3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, reverse logistics, warehousing 3PL management, supply chain, or transportation
Experience in supply chain management, logistics, and carrier management
Oracle R12 knowledge is a plus
Experience with data mining and data analysis
Practical application of program management methodology including PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels
Demonstrated experience communicating data insights, including use of data visualization tools
Excellent supervisory, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to follow site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards
