About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write robust, scalable, and reusable Golang code according to requirements
- Cover code with unit tests and work with QA engineers to ensure consistent code quality
- Perform code reviews and help teammates solve technical problems
- Troubleshoot issues as needed
- Participate in requirements and implementation discussions
- Ensure stable product operation through monitoring, alerts, and metrics
- Develop applications for isolated infrastructure while complying with security standards
- Work on backend systems and solve complex algorithmic problems related to fintech
- Communicate technical directions and product goals clearly with the team
- Promote knowledge sharing across the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience with Golang as a primary working language and 5+ years of overall development experience
- Experience with queues Kafka/NSQ/NATS/Rabbit
- Comfortable working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of CI/CD; tools include ArgoCD and GitLab
- Experience with MySQL or similar databases
- Experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
- Experience with Scrum
- Understanding of software observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Opsgenie
- Skilled in assessing technical skills and knowledge via code reviews and peer evaluations
- Experience in training and onboarding engineers
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- Understanding of the crypto industry
- Willingness to take part in interviews
