About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating clients' functionality and therapy needs
  • Implement therapy programs developed by the Occupational Therapist to meet rehabilitation goals and objectives
  • Provide treatment involving activities of daily living, perceptual-motor activities, adaptive equipment, functional-performance exercises, prevocational evaluation and treatment, and assistive technology
  • Collect and accurately record data on therapy programs
  • Deliver patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients' homes and communities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement integrated treatment plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License in applicable state(s)
  • Minimum of two (2) years related work experience
  • Rehabilitation or long-term care experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
  • Competence in writing, planning, organization, documentation, and time management
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Positive client interaction skills
