Licensed Professional Counselor – Neuro

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide neurological rehabilitation in patients' homes and communities
- Assess, counsel, and direct medically complex patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing adjustment to disability, resource linkage, and behavior modification
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans
- Incorporate creative, evidence-based activities while addressing functional goals
- Provide intensive, individualized one-on-one services for patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Completion of Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work (LCSW)
- State licensure required
- Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Ability to accept patients for the duration of their stay for PRN positions
