About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and treat impairments including upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs
  • Provide neurological rehabilitation for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
  • Deliver patient-centered, one-on-one treatment in patients' homes and communities
  • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and produce durable outcomes
  • Treat patients across the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • State licensure is required
  • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
  • Professional certification/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Experienced Occupational Therapist
  • Ability to provide care in patients' homes and communities
