Occupational Therapist – Neuro PRN
Collage Rehabilitation Partners. Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs
- Provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
- Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy in patients' homes and communities
- Incorporate creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and produce durable outcomes
- Work one-on-one with patients across the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness
- Collaborate and communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Professional certification/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is a plus
- Ability to provide treatment in patients' homes and communities
- PRN/casual availability
