Key responsibilities & impact

Provide occupational therapy in patients' homes and communities
Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs
Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
Use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals
Provide patient-centered care for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses

What you’ll need

Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
State licensure is required
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
Professional certification/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
