About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and treat impairments including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs
- Provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses
- Deliver one-on-one treatment in patients' homes and communities
- Create and implement integrated treatment plans as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Incorporate varied activities while addressing functional goals
- Provide evidence-based treatment resulting in durable outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
