Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and treat impairments including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs
Provide neurological rehabilitation for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses
Develop integrated treatment plans as part of an interdisciplinary team
Deliver one-on-one treatment in patients' homes and communities
Incorporate creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals
Build patients' skills and support durable outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders
Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
Must provide patient-centered care in patients' homes and communities
Must be available for PRN positions
