About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and treat impairments including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs
  • Provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses
  • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver intensive, individualized, one-on-one services in patients' homes and communities
  • Use creative, evidence-based therapeutic activities to address functional goals and produce durable outcomes
  • Build patient skills across the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • State licensure
  • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders
  • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Ability to provide patient-centered care in patients' homes and communities
