About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes and communities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language
- Evaluate and treat executive functioning and cognitive needs
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia
- Address augmentative communication needs
- Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide individualized, evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Support patients with neurological and complex orthopedic diagnoses across the recovery continuum
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- PRN availability
- Work in Pomona, California and surrounding areas
