About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language
  • Evaluate and treat executive functioning and cognitive needs
  • Evaluate and treat dysphagia
  • Address augmentative communication needs
  • Provide intensive, individualized, patient-centered services in patients’ homes and communities
  • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Use creative, evidence-based therapeutic activities to address functional goals
  • Accept PRN patients for the duration of their stay

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • State licensure is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
  • Dual certification in Georgia and South Carolina is a plus
  • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Must provide care in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and surrounding areas
