About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities
  • Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication
  • Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver individualized, patient-centered care for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
  • Incorporate creative, evidence-based activities addressing functional goals
  • Accept PRN patients for the duration of their stay

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • State licensure is required
  • Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required
  • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Experienced Speech Language Pathologist
  • Ability to provide care in Temple, TX, and surrounding areas
