  • Accept patients for the duration of their stay
  • Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Practice treatment plans in patients’ homes and communities
  • Use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and achieve durable outcomes
  • Support patients across the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • State licensure is required
  • Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA required
  • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
  • Ability to provide patient-centered care in patients’ homes and communities
  • Experience treating traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses is relevant to the role
