Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication
Provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
Accept patients for the duration of their stay in PRN positions
Develop integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
Deliver one-on-one treatment in patients’ homes and communities
Use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and produce durable outcomes

What you’ll need

Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
State licensure is required
Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
Dual certification in Georgia and South Carolina is a plus
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
Ability to provide care in Bluffton, South Carolina, and surrounding areas
