Prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways
Apply culturally responsive teaching and knowledge of the teaching field
Meet professional standards for faculty under college policies and procedures
Teach courses according to the class schedule, approved course descriptions, and faculty-established syllabi
Perform duties on one or more Collin College campuses or off-site locations
Teach possible Dual Credit courses
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree or higher in a discipline/qualifying field
Qualifying fields include Animation, Digital Media, Game Development, Rigging, Video Production, Visual Effects, 2D/3D Design, Motion Graphics, Media Arts, Technical Graphics, and Digital Art
Teaching experience is desired
Candidates must attach qualifying/conferred transcripts
Candidates must attach required licenses and certifications, if applicable
Candidates are subject to a criminal background check
Dual credit assignments require an additional fingerprinting background check with the Texas Department of Public Safety
Ability to perform sedentary work and related physical activities in an office environment
Ability to work on-site at a Collin College campus or other Collin College location
Teaching assignments may include evening and weekend programs
Candidates must comply with college policies, procedures, professional standards, and core values
