About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate Art History coursework
  • Teach courses according to the class schedule, approved course descriptions, and faculty-approved syllabi
  • Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures
  • Teach on one or more Collin College campuses or off-site locations, including possible evening and weekend programs
  • Teach dual credit courses when assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform duties in person at a Collin College campus or other designated location

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Art History, or a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in Art History
  • Qualifying transcripts must be attached to the application
  • Conferred transcripts, licenses, and certifications must be attached where required
  • Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities
  • Candidates for security-sensitive positions are subject to a criminal background check
  • Additional fingerprinting background check with the TX DPS is required from the assigned ISD if selected for dual credit course(s)
  • All duties must be performed in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values
