About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale business and technology transformation programme
Own programme plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks and critical path management
Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting and control frameworks
Coordinate business, technology, product, operations and third-party supplier teams
Manage delivery from mobilisation through implementation, hypercare and operational handover
Act as primary delivery interface with third-party and strategic suppliers
Manage supplier governance, performance, deliverables, milestones and contractual commitments
Lead technology, data, customer and operational migration activities
Manage migration readiness assessments, cutover planning, customer onboarding waves and hypercare
Lead operational transition planning, service readiness, support model design, operational acceptance and training
Facilitate design and discovery workshops and drive scope, requirements and target operating model definition
Produce governance materials, steering committee packs and executive reporting
Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change control
Coordinate SIT, UAT, migration testing and operational readiness testing
Manage go-live planning, execution and post-implementation support
Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional internal and third-party delivery teams
Drive successful transition into BAU support and operations

Minimum 8-10 years' experience leading complex technology and business transformation programmes
Proven experience delivering large-scale platform migration or SaaS transformation programmes
Proven experience managing third-party technology vendors and delivery partners
Experience delivering data migration, integration and operational transition programmes
Experience managing customer onboarding, migration or deployment activities at scale
Experience leading governance, steering committees and executive stakeholder groups
Experience working in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Travel or Payments
Experience managing geographically distributed teams and suppliers
Experience operating in both Agile and waterfall delivery environments
Strong budget ownership, financial governance and commercial management experience
PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP or equivalent programme/project management qualification
Agile delivery certification or demonstrable Agile delivery experience
