About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Dean and faculty of the School of Science and Engineering
- Assist with grading academic materials
- Assist the Dean with academic research projects
- Edit and compile scholarly material
- Prepare, edit, and submit scholarly research works
- Participate in University community activities and campus events throughout the year
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Academic Assistant
- Experience in Science higher education
- Familiarity with CCU’s mission, vision and values
- Experience with academic research and editing of scholarly works (preferred)
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ
- Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace
- Strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University
- Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church
- Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education
- Traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is consonant with sound Christian principles, compatible with CCU’s Statement of Faith, and in agreement with the University’s Strategic Priorities
- Ability to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends
- May be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Appropriate vision and hearing capabilities; ability to walk, stand, sit, reach, balance, stoop, and speak with clarity
