About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain individual delinquency results on assigned portions of the 1-60 Day Special Label Portfolios
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve delinquent contracts
  • Contact lessees via telephone, mail, email, text, or personal contact
  • Make resolution arrangements when accepting less than total due
  • Meet or exceed individual delinquency goals on assigned portfolios
  • Maintain required call volumes and professional calling standards
  • Assess and collect miscellaneous fees and late charges
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer communication documentation in Artiva
  • Use extensions, rewrites, addendums, and forbearances, including equipment repairs
  • Prepare status worksheets, buyouts, t-values, Fair Market Value requests, repossession packets, third-party sale requests, settlement packets, and credit bureau requests
  • Utilize Artiva status coding and web-based skip-tracing tools including Accurint and ID-Info
  • Refer accounts to outside field agents and coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims and coverage
  • Work with brokers, relationship managers, and vendor contacts to resolve first-payment-default delinquencies
  • Prepare demand letters and attorney demand letter/litigation packets
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, brokers, staff, and business associates
  • Notify the supervisor of significant situations that may cause harm or loss to the company
  • Follow bank policies, procedures, compliance regulations, Bank Secrecy Act requirements, and other applicable regulations
  • Provide customer service and support other staff as needed
  • May coach, mentor, or train others
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous collections experience preferred
  • Collection experience in a leasing/contract environment or equivalent preferred
  • Data entry skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems
  • Ability and willingness to build relationships with associates
  • Ability to think critically and provide appropriate solutions
  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
  • Must work fully onsite at the posted location(s)
