About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with relationship managers and business partners to keep them apprised and provide primary client relationship, direction and customer service support for corporate and commercial deposit clients
- Provide high level of client service for all products and services via phone, email and other communication channels
- Serve as subject matter expert for Deposit and Treasury Management products
- Act as Commercial Banking's primary customer contact for servicing all clients
- Receive guidance from Sr. CCS Representative on complex issues
- Respond to banking questions and provide guidance with account implementation, funds transfer/stop payment requests, transaction posting problems and error resolution
- Communicate with Relationship Managers, provide updates on client matters, make recommendations and ensure issues needing immediate attention are resolved timely
- Answer incoming calls from Treasury Management customers and internal staff, delivering exceptional service and pursuing one-call resolution
- Respond to deposit and Treasury Management client questions and resolve issues timely and effectively
- Escalate complex issues to Sr. CCS Representative when needed
- Demonstrate compliance with bank regulations and keep up to date on regulation changes
- Follow Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete required training
- Maintain working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other applicable regulations
- May coach, mentor, train others, and teach coursework as subject matter expert
- Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster Columbia corporate culture

Requirements
What you’ll need- H.S. Diploma/GED (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field (preferred)
- 2-4 years of banking experience, treasury management product experience, new accounts, lending loan processing or documentation and customer service (Required)
- Demonstrated knowledge of bank payment systems, account operations, banking services and exposure to complex business entities
- Proficient knowledge of Commercial banking products and services, operations and procedures and applicable laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels of business
- Knowledge of general business acumen and practices related to analysis, accounting and financial procedures including market and interest rate impact
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task, handle complex issues and use good judgement in decision making
- Strong technical skills including Windows Office Suite, spreadsheets and industry specific software
- Occasional travel required
- Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
