About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver advanced-level endpoint, SCCM, and organizational patch management support
  • Carry out updates using patches and new builds to maintain security and usability
  • Assist with third-party patching
  • Manage the endpoint SCCM environment, software deployment collections, and outdated collections/task sequences
  • Push all operating system and third-party application patches to endpoints
  • Collaborate with Information Security to resolve security vulnerabilities over 30 days old
  • Create and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate endpoint processes
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving PCs, laptops, networks, local servers, printers, remote access, and file shares
  • Provide Tier 3 support for escalated service desk tickets and mentor Desktop Support staff
  • Act as point of contact for level 3 escalations
  • Implement and support software and hardware standards for desktop, infrastructure, and network infrastructure
  • Log, track, route, and document problems and requests using ticket tracking software
  • Respond to technical assistance requests in person, by telephone, and electronically
  • Log service desk interactions
  • Create and follow standard operating procedures
  • Develop fundamental operations for commonly used software, hardware, and equipment
  • Assist with management of the Azure Virtual Desktop environment
  • Provide Microsoft Windows desktop/server and Apple iOS expertise to internal clients
  • Maintain compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, and required training
  • Maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations
  • Coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert
  • Foster Columbia corporate culture and support the vision to become “Business Bank of Choice”
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S Diploma
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of Desktop support experience
  • 3+ years of System administration
  • SCCM, PowerShell, VDI/Horizing VMWare
  • Windows 11 Operating System
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022/2025
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing and subnets
  • Microsoft Office Applications/Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • MCSA: Windows Server 2025 or equivalent
  • MC: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
