About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, cultivate, and close new commercial banking relationships within the property management services industry
  • Develop expertise in HOA banking needs and deliver customized Treasury Management products and services
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of HOA relationships
  • Develop new depository relationships through telephonic outreach, face-to-face visits, and written communication
  • Participate in community events and tradeshows to promote Bank services and financial products
  • Meet with CPAs, attorneys, real estate agents, business owners, and senior executives to evaluate needs and provide product advice
  • Understand customer needs, business strategies, and core accounting platforms; consult on banking systems that improve efficiency and mitigate fraud
  • Develop and execute individual marketing strategies to promote financial products and prospect for new relationships
  • Negotiate deposit and credit product pricing, terms, conditions, financial covenants, and reporting requirements
  • Scrutinize potential customer information for irregularities, discrepancies, and fraud
  • Visit prospective or existing client offices to examine collateral and conduct assessments
  • Monitor existing clients’ Treasury Management usage, communicate enhancements, and serve as an escalation point
  • Manage customer relationships through the Bank’s CRM system
  • Anticipate additional customer needs; follow up on deposit and credit line expirations and renewals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to achieve customer goals
  • Complete compliance courses and maintain expertise in banking products, delivery channels, and regulatory, operational, and compliance issues
  • Facilitate documentation for opening, closing, and renewing deposit and loan accounts
  • Ensure quick and accurate execution of customer requests
  • Obtain information for preliminary underwriting purposes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in Financial Services and/or the Property Management industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or equivalent experience
  • Educated Business Partner Distinction preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining strong customer and prospect relationships
  • Professional expertise consistent with Bank policies and procedures
  • Ability to resolve a variety of issues in creative ways
  • Ability to analyze situations or data and evaluate a variety of factors
  • Appropriate judgment in selecting methods and techniques to determine action and develop solutions
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Self-directed on day-to-day work and able to seek guidance on new projects or assignments
  • Developing professional expertise and applying company policies and procedures
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices
  • Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
