About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage banking products, services, and delivery channels from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, sales programs, performance tracking, and the product life cycle
  • Manage the portfolio of assigned products and research and development of new products
  • Evaluate and enhance actively sold and serviced products
  • Identify revenue enhancement opportunities, track profitability, and manage changes to assigned products
  • Evaluate regulatory changes, risk assessments, Bank initiatives, and customer needs for new and enhanced products and services
  • Use customer feedback, surveys, associate input, and competitor analysis
  • Monitor banking product and service trends through competitive analysis, market assessments, and feasibility research
  • Assess and report on effectiveness, revenue generation, market penetration, and profitability of products and services
  • Measure and track financial performance volume against established goals
  • Assist with business plans, business requirements, and technical specifications
  • Assist with leading projects, including project plans, presentations, training materials, communications, and product-launch information
  • Maintain regulatory compliance knowledge and complete required training
  • Maintain working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations
  • Coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert
  • Foster Columbia corporate culture and support the vision to become “Business Bank of Choice”
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance related field (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of relevant data analyst and/or product development, management, and/or operations experience (Required)
  • Advanced ability to analyze assigned product line and industry trends to optimize products to drive performance, penetration, and pricing
  • Advanced knowledge of the Bank’s products and services, infrastructural components, bank policies, procedures, practices, and documentation
  • Advanced written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and project management skills
  • Ability to train and present to small and large audiences
  • Advanced ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company and with vendor partners
  • Advanced marketing and product development concepts and practices, product lines and potential applications, and customer requirements
  • Advanced regulatory and compliance knowledge
  • Occasional travel
  • Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
