About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead North American shared services functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal control standards
Direct accurate and timely management reports and audit support documentation
Drive process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and ERP optimization
Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, financial planning, organizational growth, and business transformation
Build, lead, and develop accounting and shared services teams
Manage departmental budgets, workforce planning, risk management, and organizational change initiatives
Maintain a collaborative team environment and deliver quality, timely work products
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Finance, Accounting or related field
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
5+ years of leadership experience managing shared service teams including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management
Experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, or complex organizational environment
Demonstrated success leading process improvement and transformation initiatives
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
30%+ travel across CMCO’s U.S. footprint
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Deep understanding of shared services operating models and best practices
Proven ability to lead large teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
Experience managing audits, internal controls, and compliance programs
