About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Flex between Assembly, Shipping & Receiving, and Fabrication based on staffing needs, production schedules, or priority changes
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth handoffs between departments
  • Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components and finished products according to work instructions and quality standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, or machine operation
  • Follow proper processes, procedures, OMS instructions, and cycle-counting procedures
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred
  • Certification for sit-down forklift, Raymond and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training
  • Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands
  • Attention to detail
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S, and company policies
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices safely and accurately
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment
