About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and lead Columbus' Dynamics 365 business in the United States
  • Own revenue, business-line profit and agreed P&L commitments for the US market
  • Translate global Dynamics strategy into an executable local plan
  • Manage revenue, profitability, margin, utilization and cash
  • Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasts and reporting
  • Orchestrate demand generation and own pipeline quality
  • Build customer, Microsoft and partner relationships
  • Generate growth opportunities within and beyond Dynamics
  • Drive strategic deals from discovery to closure
  • Shape customer value, engage decision-makers and lead proposals, pricing and negotiations
  • Validate scope, risks, margin and resources before commitment
  • Ensure profitable delivery and effective handover
  • Own selected strategic customer relationships through account planning, retention, expansion and cross-selling
  • Steer project and service delivery overall
  • Remain accountable for project profitability, delivery quality and portfolio risk
  • Implement delivery excellence, best practices and process compliance based on global standards
  • Serve as local customer escalation point and coordinate resolution
  • Anticipate demand, capacity and skills requirements
  • Drive phased hiring and investments against qualified pipeline, backlog and delivery economics
  • Leverage global resources before adding local headcount
  • Build and strengthen channel partnerships, including Microsoft
  • Establish clear roles, decision rights and accountability across sales, solutioning and delivery
  • Develop leadership capacity and succession planning
  • Own recruitment, talent management and performance management
  • Assess performance using sales, qualified pipeline, conversion, forecast accuracy, revenue, profit, margin, utilization, customer satisfaction, retention, account expansion and talent retention metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within a consulting environment
  • 10+ years of experience working within the D365 ecosystem
  • 5+ years of proven experience selling projects/analytics consultants to customers and managing a business unit
  • Highly motivated to develop a new business practice and engage in sales to existing customers and new prospects
  • Knowledge of modern cloud services, AI, Azure and data lakes
  • Experience working successfully with an offshore delivery team
  • Good technical overview and understanding of D365
  • Demonstrated seasoned leadership in a technology consulting or business applications organization
  • Accountability for profitable growth, business-unit financial performance and people leadership
  • Experience originating, developing and closing consulting engagements
  • Experience expanding strategic accounts
  • Strong commercial judgment across qualification, value-based selling, pricing, negotiation and delivery economics
  • Experience leading project or service portfolios, managing risk and working with global or offshore delivery teams
  • Experience building scalable teams and operating structures, including demand-led hiring, workforce planning, delegation, leadership development and repeatable processes
  • Strong English communication, executive stakeholder management, collaboration and coaching skills
  • Relevant higher education in technology or management, or equivalent professional experience
  • Flexibility to travel to customer site
