About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze integration requirements with Business Consultants, client stakeholders, and technical teams
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy integrations between Infor M3 CloudSuite and internal or external systems
- Develop integration solutions using Infor ION, API Gateway, and M3 APIs
- Build and maintain API-based, event-driven, message-based, and batch integrations
- Develop and maintain data transformation, mapping, validation, and error-handling components
- Obtain Technology Solution Architect review and approval of technical integration approaches before development
- Resolve functional specification questions with Business Consultants
- Escalate proposed changes to approved integration architecture or technical approaches
- Develop and execute unit and integration testing, including end-to-end data-flow validation
- Troubleshoot integration defects, API errors, failed transactions, performance issues, and data inconsistencies
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization
- Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and recovery mechanisms
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve cross-system defects
- Produce and maintain technical specifications, integration mappings, deployment documentation, and support procedures
- Participate in integration design workshops, technical planning, estimation, and sprint execution
- Coordinate integration dependencies across functional workstreams, third-party vendors, and client technical teams
- Follow solution architecture, development standards, security requirements, and change management procedures
- Identify integration risks, technical constraints, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle
- Provide technical knowledge transfer to client support and development teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of consulting experience with Infor M3, including multiple implementation, upgrade, or optimization engagements involving M3 finance
- 7+ years of ERP technical consulting or integration development experience, with significant hands-on experience in Infor M3 CloudSuite
- Minimum of 3 full life cycle implementations on Infor M3 completed
- Experience with Infor ION, Infor API Gateway, and Infor M3 APIs/MI Transactions
- Strong understanding of BOD structure, publishing, subscriptions, event-driven messaging, and integration patterns within Infor OS
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting ION Connectors, including database, file-based, and web-service integration patterns
- Strong experience with API integration patterns, JSON, XML, HTTP/S, authentication, and related standards
- Experience with SQL, data mapping, transformation logic, extraction, validation, and integration-related data processing
- Practical understanding of integration security, service accounts, authorization, connectivity, and deployment configuration
- Ability to travel up to 30% to provide services to clients
- Preferred: Infor M3 CloudSuite environment architecture, configuration, and administration
- Preferred: Environment provisioning, refreshes, tenant configuration, and release management
- Preferred: Infor CloudSuite infrastructure, network connectivity, certificates, authentication, and security configuration
- Preferred: Technical cutover and production readiness activities
- Preferred: Infor EDI solutions, including Infor Enterprise Collaborator (IEC)
- Preferred: ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
- Preferred: Integrations with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and external trading partners
- Preferred: M3 H5 SDK, H5 scripting, and personalization
- Preferred: Infor M3 XtendM3 development and extensions
- Preferred: Infor OS App Designer, ION Workflow, and related application automation capabilities
