About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end-to-end execution of client transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital-raising initiatives
- Work on M&A transactions, precedent deals, private placements, and fundraising initiatives by preparing financial analyses, transaction summaries, and supporting documentation
- Develop sell-side pitch materials highlighting strategic opportunities and value propositions to potential investors and buyers
- Prepare slides and assist senior team members with high-quality presentation materials for client meetings
- Conduct industry, market, and product research on current events, valuation trends, key financial metrics, and competitive landscapes
- Gather financial data, perform detailed analyses, and support execution of M&A deals, IPOs, private equity settlements, and other advisory services
- Assist senior bankers with business development activities, background materials, and identifying client engagement opportunities
- Facilitate communication between clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders
- Support senior bankers in managing timelines, deliverables, and high-quality outputs under tight deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation
- Previous exposure to M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is highly preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating client-facing materials
- Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is a plus
- Fluent/advanced English required (written and verbal)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective project and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong client service orientation and teamwork mindset
- CFA Level I candidate or higher is preferred but not required
