About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain applications for federal clients.
- Translate business requirements into reliable SAP functionality and accessible user experiences.
- Design and develop ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces based on approved requirements.
- Build and extend SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and supporting OData services.
- Collaborate with functional specialists to prepare technical designs and estimate development work.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate transports and releases with Basis, integration, security, and testing personnel.
- Resolve application defects and maintain technical documentation, including support and deployment instructions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform.
- At least 20 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting federal government programs.
- Proficiency in ABAP, object oriented development, SAPUI5, JavaScript, and OData services.
- Ability to troubleshoot SAP applications and apply secure coding, usability, and accessibility practices.
- Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred.
- Secret Clearance eligible.
