About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, catheter emptying, grooming, and other daily living activities
Provide companionship and emotional support
Prepare and plan meals according to dietary needs
Monitor and record clients’ health and report changes to healthcare professionals
Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and activities
Maintain a clean and safe client environment
Follow care plans and protect client confidentiality and dignity
Communicate with clients, families, and team members
Provide compassionate in-home care as a Personal Care Aide for ComForCare Home Health Care

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in caregiving preferred
Prior experience in personal care or home health care is a plus
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
Must pass background checks and drug screenings
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
