About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor technological, regulatory, and market trends in the energy, construction, HVAC, and infrastructure segments
- Identify business opportunities and threats, proposing actions to strengthen the company’s competitiveness
- Lead technical, economic, and commercial feasibility studies for new products, services, applications, and business models
- Develop solution and application roadmaps aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
- Structure and lead initiatives related to new products, strategic partnerships, and innovative energy solutions
- Support commercial teams with market intelligence, technical rationale, and value proposition development
- Assess new technologies applicable to the natural gas market and energy solutions
- Provide technical support for the specification, validation, and development of applications related to natural gas use
- Conduct comparative analyses of competing and substitute technologies
- Prepare technical opinions, technical notes, and recommendations for strategic decision-making
- Participate in technical forums, committees, and working groups of industry organizations
- Contribute to the development, review, and evolution of technical standards and regulations
- Manage projects from conception through implementation
- Coordinate ideation, feasibility assessment, prototyping, testing, validation, and rollout
- Prepare schedules, KPIs, action plans, and risk management plans
- Monitor the physical and financial progress of projects
- Prepare executive status reports and management presentations for boards and senior leadership
- Develop technical materials and training programs for internal teams
- Share knowledge of relevant technologies, solutions, and trends
- Support the development of the company’s technical positions on strategic topics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field)
- Active CREA registration
- Postgraduate degree in a related field; a specialization in process or people management is preferred
- Experience in related activities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for reading technical documents, participating in meetings, and interacting with international suppliers and partners
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus
- Power BI is a plus
