About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform mid-level Designer functions with minimal supervision
Create and modify project deliverables
Apply project standards, systems, document control, and company procedures
Support continuous improvement of guides, standards, design methods, processes, and procedures
Review design inputs to ensure deliverables comply with applicable codes and standards
Develop less complex design concepts and project design deliverables
Develop detailed material quantities and estimates
Coordinate deliverables with other team members and project teams
Support project finalization, including consolidating records for as-built drawings and taking off as-built quantities
Provide technical guidance, work direction, and delegation of assignments to other engineering professionals
Focus on internal client needs while developing an understanding of external clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Associate degree or better in Drafting & Design preferred
Technical/other training or better in Equivalent Experience
Knowledge and use of electronic applications, standards, and document control processes/procedures
Knowledge of project standards, systems, document control, department and company policies and procedures
Knowledge of the Quality Program relative to deliverables
Ability to review design inputs for compliance with project-specific codes and standards
Ability to create and develop deliverables from varied design inputs
Ability to coordinate deliverables with project teams
