About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the departments of the Deputy General Directorate for Culture, Health and Social Services
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Manage invoices
  • Process requests for payment orders
  • Monitor purchasing cards
  • Monitor cash advances and petty cash funds
  • Prepare, draft, and monitor council resolutions
  • Review and monitor grant applications
  • Prepare and monitor agreements
  • Assist with the management of public procurement procedures and service contracts
  • Turn data into dashboards
  • Provide support and advice to the departments and facility networks of the Culture, Health and Social Services Directorate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree to two years of higher education (BAC to BAC+2 equivalent) in accounting and/or finance
  • Relevant professional experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing local authorities
  • Knowledge of accounting and budgetary rules
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in Word
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
