About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with general program management and location operation of mental health programs at the direction of the Program Director
  • Report directly to the Program Director
  • Monitor program and employee compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Supervise, train, and oversee performance management of program employees
  • Make employment decisions during the life cycle of team members
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring employees
  • Develop educational and training materials, present educational materials, and provide technical assistance
  • Ensure development and implementation of individual program plans and activities
  • Review financial documentation and billing; perform on-site audits of individuals’ funds and petty cash funds
  • Serve as team leader for interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary staff meetings
  • Direct and ensure effectiveness of daily program operations, including incident management
  • Fulfill Program Director duties temporarily in the Program Director’s absence
  • Assist in developing data collection methods, report and monitor program activities, and analyze data against program goals
  • Provide coverage in emergency situations
  • Participate in quality assurance/quality management activities related to specified programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline
  • 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • At least 1 year supervision/management experience
  • A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma-informed care: safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment
  • Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language, and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion
