About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build the H Platform web app
- Build and improve the HoloTab Chrome extension
- Design the live run view and replay experience
- Change the Python APIs behind features
- Establish shared component patterns
- Make long-running workflows easier for Forward Deployed Engineers and customers to deploy and monitor
- Deliver a feature, including API changes, to users within three months
- Own a product surface such as live runs and replay or the HoloTab interface within six months
- Work across several products, align on priorities with product owners, and build those features within the first year
- Collaborate with the owners of the H Platform and HoloTab
- Serve Forward Deployed Engineers, technical customers, and HoloTab users
- Participate in a four-stage hiring process: Talent call, coding interview, take-home exercise with review, and closing conversation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have shipped a production product in React and TypeScript as a senior engineer
- Make the API change a feature needs as well as the UI
- Write correct, concurrent code
- Handle live, async data in the UI correctly
- Enjoy working out what users actually need and designing the interface around it
- Have worked with Python
- Chrome extensions or the Chrome DevTools Protocol experience is a stronger qualification
- Real-time interfaces using streaming, SSE or WebSockets experience is a stronger qualification
- Design systems or component libraries experience is a stronger qualification
- FastAPI or a similar Python API framework experience is a stronger qualification
- Preact and Vite experience is a stronger qualification
- Ability to complete a 2-hour take-home front-end exercise and 45-minute review
- Visa sponsorship requirements may apply for the role location
