Develop features and services, working on the tasks planned for each sprint
Participate in the analysis, technical design, development, and testing of solutions
Implement business rules and integrations with systems and data sources, ensuring information is available for application consumption
Develop secure, scalable code aligned with the technical, architectural, and quality standards defined by the project
Help identify and resolve blockers, proactively communicating risks and dependencies to the team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications by making fixes, enhancements, and optimizations as needed
Collaborate with the team to define technical solutions, refine requirements, and ensure delivery quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience developing applications using Java SE, Java Web, and Quarkus
Knowledge of JPA, Jakarta EE/JEE, and REST API development
Experience with microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and Design Patterns
Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, Web Services, messaging, JMS, and synchronous and asynchronous integrations
Knowledge of relational data modeling and building and optimizing SQL queries
Experience with web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), MVC, and responsive applications
Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, Kanban, TDD, refactoring, and requirements refinement
Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing, using tools such as JUnit, Selenium, and similar technologies
Knowledge of static code analysis and software quality using SonarQube or equivalent tools
Experience with Git, code reviews, continuous integration, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Knowledge of layered application architecture, API design, containers, and software engineering best practices
Experience analyzing functional and non-functional requirements and contributing to the definition of technical solutions
Preferred: knowledge of ATDD, Enterprise Integration Patterns, and multi-tenant architecture
Preferred: experience with ESB, WebSphere Message Broker, or equivalent technologies
Preferred: experience with observability, monitoring, performance testing, and JMeter
Preferred: AZ-900 certification
Preferred: knowledge of JSF, EJB, Struts, Swing, jQuery, AngularJS, ASP, and ClearCase
