About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain Java APIs and microservices
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical support to the team
- Integrate systems and relational and non-relational databases
- Analyze, resolve, and prevent production issues
- Implement business rules according to requirements and the specified solution
- Integrate applications with other systems or data sources, processing and making information available for front-end consumption
- Develop high-quality code in accordance with established technical and development standards
- Ensure the security, quality, and maintainability of code and deliverables
- Produce source code that adheres to the standards of the technologies used
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging
- Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of Git, automated testing, and software development best practices
- Completed higher education degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
