About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead actuarial due diligence across acquisitions, assessing reserving, capital, pricing, valuation and deal structure
- Manage multiple transactions
- Engage with cedants and external advisers
- Oversee the transition of successful deals into the wider business
- Work closely with Underwriting, Finance, Risk & Compliance and Actuarial teams
- Support global M&A activity and help deliver Compre’s growth ambitions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Right to work in the location you’re applying to
- 5+ years’ post-qual non-life insurance or reinsurance actuarial experience
- Strong transaction due diligence and/or risk-based pricing expertise
- Broad reserving knowledge, including liability lines
- The commercial judgement to turn actuarial analysis into clear deal recommendations
- Confident communication, relationship management and leadership skills
- The ability to take ownership and deliver across competing priorities
- Capital experience, including BSCR or Solvency II SCR, would be advantageous
- Contributing positively to our culture and values
