About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor events, logs, and alerts in real time to identify suspicious activity or incidents
- Support the triage, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents
- Assist with vulnerability management cycles, including identification, risk analysis, and remediation tracking
- Conduct security risk assessments and evaluate compliance with internal standards and policies
- Participate in projects focused on system security and data protection under Brazil’s LGPD
- Prepare technical reports and dashboards, and track information security metrics and KPIs
- Plan and deliver security education initiatives and awareness campaigns for employees
- Protect information assets and technology infrastructure by supporting the implementation, operation, and monitoring of security controls and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of information security, including the CIA triad, access management, encryption, and security policies
- Computer networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls
- Understanding of operating system architecture, including Windows and Linux
- Familiarity with monitoring and security tools, such as SIEM, antivirus/EDR, and vulnerability scanners
- Analytical ability to investigate root causes, correlate events, and resolve incidents and technical issues
- Ability to prepare clear technical reports and documentation
- Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining guidelines to technical and non-technical audiences
