About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Global Markets Business Unit, part of the International Segment of Brand Finance, responsible for sales outside of North America
- Serve as a finance partner for assigned business functions on accounting and finance-related questions
- Assess business needs while identifying risks and opportunities
- Participate in preparation and compilation of the Annual Operating Plan and strategic plan
- Update monthly forecasts based on business changes and communicate actionable, forward-looking insights
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Develop financial analyses and models for product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, and pricing initiatives
- Lead and support projects across financial planning and analysis, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments
- Develop metrics, scorecards, and reporting tools for business performance monitoring and decision-making
- Deliver periodic reporting, scorecards, and performance metrics to business partners and leadership teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 2+ years of professional business and financial experience
- Experience managing profit and loss statements, financial systems, and general accounting concepts
- Experience collaborating across multiple functions to complete projects and resolve organizational challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power Query, and Copilot
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software platforms preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
