About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical lead for enterprise data integration efforts
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data exchange processes across complex enterprise systems
Build and optimize SQL-based data workflows, emphasizing relational databases
Implement and support data integration using XML/JSON, APIs, data mapping techniques, and data validation frameworks
Validate transformations, monitor data flows, and diagnose discrepancies or interface failures
Troubleshoot and resolve system-to-system data movement issues
Ensure high availability and reliability of data exchanges
Understand authoritative data sources and operational data movement, transformation, and validation
Apply domain knowledge to preserve operational meaning and intent in data integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in data science, information systems, computer science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data integration supporting federal IT programs
Secret Clearance (or higher) required
Master's Degree or PhD preferred
Hands-on integration engineering experience
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data exchange processes
Strong SQL skills and relational database experience, preferably Oracle
Experience with XML/JSON, APIs, data mapping, and data validation frameworks
