About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise on and design transformation roadmaps for customers in the areas of digitalization, AI, IoT, and Industry 4.0
Contribute across the entire development lifecycle—from defining and/or analyzing specified use cases, preparing and presenting proposals, through to implementation and commissioning
Develop sustainable operating models for customers
Develop reusable solution components for future transformations
Define AIoT architectures and develop innovative hardware, connectivity, and cloud solutions
Define the foundation for AI- and IoT-based services such as GenAI applications, AIOps, and digital twins
Support the expansion of customer offerings and the continued growth of the team
Provide technical leadership to the development team
Ensure solution quality through code reviews
Support the agile delivery of projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
Several years of professional experience, for example as a Software Architect
Experience analyzing and evaluating customer requirements
Ideally, experience providing technical leadership to a small or medium-sized development team
Relevant expertise in JavaScript, Java, Java EE, Node.js, and TypeScript
Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Express, and React
Ideally, experience in AI, including machine learning, LLMs, and AIOps
Experience developing technical cloud solution designs based on Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Microsoft Azure and AWS
Experience with rapid prototyping
Basic understanding of business cases and customer needs
Technical expertise in translating customer requirements into innovative solutions
Fluent spoken and written English and German
Willingness to travel occasionally
