About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and administer Cisco AppDynamics environments
- Configure application agents (Java, .NET, Node.js) and machine agents
- Define business transactions, health rules, policies, and alerts
- Implement dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs
- Conduct performance analysis and root cause investigations
- Tune instrumentation for optimal performance and minimal overhead
- Integrate AppDynamics with infrastructure monitoring and ITSM tools
- Support cloud-native and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Deliver workshops and best-practice guidance to client stakeholders
- Participate in solution design and pre-sales technical engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience with Cisco AppDynamics (SaaS or On-Prem)
- Strong understanding of APM concepts and application architecture
- Experience instrumenting Java and/or .NET applications
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Experience configuring health rules and policies
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
